Approach

How Sessions Work

Patrycja draws on several evidence-based approaches and blends them to suit the person in front of her, rather than fitting people to a model. Sessions typically run 60 minutes, weekly or fortnightly to begin with.

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy

Practical skills for distress tolerance, emotional regulation and relationships.

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy

Building a workable relationship with difficult thoughts, and moving toward what matters.

Systemic & Family Therapy

Understanding patterns between people, not just within them.

EMDR

Processing traumatic memory so it stops living in the present tense.

Yes. Patrycja offers both in-person and secure online sessions, so you can continue therapy while travelling or if getting to an appointment is difficult.

Mostly listening. Patrycja will ask about what brought you here, what you'd like to be different, and any history that helps make sense of it, at whatever pace feels manageable.
