ABOUT

Meet Patrycja

Therapist. Author. Clinical Leader. Advocate.

HER STORY

Twenty Years of Sitting With People Through Their Hardest Moments

For two decades, Patrycja has worked with people at the point where life stops making sense; after assault, after loss, after betrayal, after the slow erosion of a relationship. Her career has spanned crisis response, hospital mental health, family therapy and clinical leadership, and across all of it she has kept the same commitment: that people are not problems to be solved, and that healing happens in relationship.

She is known among colleagues for pairing clinical rigour with genuine warmth, the kind of practitioner who can hold both the theory and the person in the room at the same time.

HER JOURNEY

Finding Her Own Path

As a migrant who arrived in Australia and had to rebuild her personal and professional life from the ground up, Patrycja knows what it means to navigate unfamiliar territory and find a sense of belonging. That cross-cultural experience shaped the way she now works with clients from all walks of life, with empathy for how disorienting change and uncertainty can be, and a deep respect for the resilience it takes to move through it.
